There are many reasons for a user to work with a remote desktop system but the most known are to download, upload and share big files or backup his files. A remote desktop is located in a DC, so it is more secure and have a faster connection to the internet, the hardware of the remote desktop, in case of damage or failure , is replaced by the DC at no extra cost and if the remote desktop is hosted on a cloud server there are several copies of the remote server disk.
